My Dachshund is overweight, and each time I take him to the vet, I have heard Dachshund how overweight are prone to back problems and I get depressed. I know I have help with his weight problem, but here's my dilemma. I want her to enjoy his food too, if it does not work, she sneaks food for cats. Right now I'm feeding her Nutro natural choice for overweight dogs. She loves it. But it does not really seem to lose weight with him, but did not win either. But when my vet put me on low calorie diet science has actually gained weight because she slipped her any food found anywhere, because she hated him. Help! I want my dog to be happy and healthy.
